Our Mission & Story.

Empowering the NHS and its patients through smart, decentralized elective care.

How it started

Emmy's App was conceived as a direct response to the historic surge in NHS waiting lists in mid-2024. With reports estimating a staggering £73 billion in lost potential benefits over five years due to reduced economic activity, we saw an urgent need for a more efficient way to deliver care.

Our mission is simple: to help reduce the waiting list while incurring the lowest possible cost to the taxpayer. By linking patients needing elective, non-emergency care with local healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, we enable patients to be treated in the comfort of their homes, significantly reducing the pressure on existing NHS infrastructure.

Our Core Values

  • Relentless Efficiency: We aim to lower costs for the NHS while maintaining enterprise-grade standards.
  • Healthcare Empowerment: Giving practitioners the flexibility to work their own hours and earn more.
  • Patient Autonomy: Moving care from clinical settings to the home to improve recovery and satisfaction.
